Shipping Guidance

At Solex, we make every effort to ensure that your appliance arrives in perfect condition. To facilitate both domestic and international shipment, we provide robust packaging solutions designed to protect your equipment throughout the logistics chain.

We offer three levels of packaging protection, ranging from standard to maximum safety, depending on your shipping method and risk level. Please note that additional costs may apply for wooden crate and wooden box packaging.

1. Standard Packaging (Domestic, Inter-Island, Export FCL)

  • Appliances are packed in full double-wall cardboard with integrated cardboard corner protection.
  • Units are further protected with Styrofoam bumpers, film wrapping, and secure strapping to a wooden pallet.
  • Suitable for domestic deliveries, inter-island shipments within Indonesia, and Export FCL (Full Container Load).

Protection level: Basic (sufficient for controlled shipments).
Standard Packaging

2. Full Wooden Crate Packaging (Recommended)

  • Strongly recommended for Domestic Inter-Island shipments and Export LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments.
  • Provides greater protection against handling risks during multi-handling and long-distance transport.

Protection level: Medium (enhanced durability for higher handling risks).
Wooden Crate Packaging

3. Full Wooden Box Packaging (Preferred for Airfreight)

  • Strongly recommended for Airfreight shipments as the safest packaging option.
  • Offers maximum protection against impact, vibration, and rough handling common in air cargo logistics.
  • Also a suitable option for high-value export shipments requiring maximum assurance.

Protection level: Highest (maximum protection).

Haulier & Loading Guidance

  • Drivers must quote the booking reference number upon arrival at Solex; vehicles without references may be refused loading.
  • We recommend that hauliers always use loading strap protection to reduce the risk of impact damage in transit.
  • Solex can assist hauliers with supplementary protective sheets for safer load securing if required.

Claims & Insurance

  • Any damage must be reported to Solex within 48 hours of receipt so that we can investigate promptly.
  • Solex cannot accept claims for damage if goods are trans-shipped under separate ex-works haulage arrangements or damaged during customer-arranged positioning/installation.
  • We recommend customers consider Marine & Transport Insurance to cover export and long-haul transportation risks.

All transactions are subject to Solex terms and conditions of sale.
