A Cooler, Healthier Work Environment
Indonesia’s tropical climate can make factory conditions difficult, especially during peak dry-season months when roof temperatures climb rapidly. To address this, Solex has installed bubble foil insulation on the factory roof, a material recognized for its high heat-reflective qualities, to improve our factory comfort. This upgrade has lowered indoor factory heat exposure by up to 6∘C during the hottest hours, significantly improving working comfort. The difference is immediately noticeable—not only for our team’s physical health but also for their energy and concentration throughout the workday.
Introducing the HVLV Fan System
Continuing our effort to enhance comfort by improving air quality and circulation, Solex recently installed a total of eight (8) High Volume Low Velocity (HVLV) fans across its factory areas. Each fan features an impressive 7.3-meter diameter and can move up to 14,100 m3 of air per minute. These HVLV systems deliver steady, gentle airflow that evenly circulates cool air throughout the factory floor without creating noise or turbulence.
The result is a more balanced and breathable environment that supports both productivity and health. The fans also help reduce humidity and stagnant air pockets, further contributing to a safer and more comfortable workspace year-round. These facility upgrades are central to our focus on improving Solex factory comfort and well-being.
